a tribute to my pals in sunway (1st part)

well, today im gonna talk about my life in Sunway Coll.. a one and a half year emotional roller coaster ride is probably the best way to describe my experience. Going to Sunway did not only enable me to learn academically, but also other important stuff like having frens, camraderie, etc..Living alone, i learnt to maximise every ringgit..being stingy was the key to survival( especially at the end of the month) coins were actually important..life would have been a drab if it werent for my pals especially my close circle of friends..the East Malaysian gang+3..haha! +3 because Arthur, Seetha and Brenda are locals(residing in selangor lah) The east malaysian members were Jacintha, Michelle, Phillip, Amanda, Pamela and also Ignatius..we had so much fun as a group. I cant thank you guys enough for the memories( are those lyrics from a song?). To tell this story would be impossible, because i cant shrink 1 and a half years to a single session of blogging, so im just going to show pictures(memorable ones la) followed by brief explanations. Note that the pics are not in chronological order.

.

being gay with iggy and phillip..phillip's birthaday party @ nandos. Quite a disturbing experience hahaha!

as usual, the girls do their shoe shopping in vincci and leave us men sitting in boredom. Good training for married life i guess

now this was taken in itallianies. It brings back memories of good food and togetherness(l-r).brenda, phillip, me, amanda, pam, chelle, jacintha followed by an unknown wannabe...hahaha!! no lah abel, just kidding.

this was part of our moral studies project, visiting the rumah kanak kanak cacat selangor. I was trying to communicate with this kid..well the person is actually 14 years old. Jacintha can be seen talking to another disabled person(out of the pic)

watching one of the children..he was trying to tell us something but i couldnt figure it out. The other 2 guys in d pic are my coursemates William andElijah

overall, this trip left one of the most lasting memories of my time studying in sunway. Not only did i learn a whole new level of communication and a shift in my perception of life, i also was cured of the irrational fear of mentally handicapped children..honestly,i was apprehensive at first but at the end of the day, i found myself wanting more =) ...finally a moral project in which i actually learned something.

thats all for now, will post other parts at a later time
