Ladies and gents, boredjoe will be inactive from 31stof may till the 4th of june.
Why?
Because im goin back to kampung which is 5 hours away, and you can only get a 019 signal if u stand on top of a hill.
Theres no sesco powerline..so forget about an internet connection.
Happy Gawai everyone!

Update.
Ok so the past few days have been rather dramatic for me. Waiting stupidly for that email which finally came..
And THANK GOD im not a dream psychic..
The reason for the delay is because of my bodoh ielts...i havnt submitted the damn result slip so they didnt want to release the uncond offer wtf.
This piece of shit paper cost my father rm55o, +rm 300 airplane ticket+ unquantifiable amount of stress.
Im not gonna tell u my score ahahaha. Enough to go aussie lar.
So its confirmed boys and girls. I will be leaving malaysia to live abroad for the first time in 11 years.
my destination: Adelaide, where the grass is green and the girls are pretty( I hope!)
I will be spending one year to complete my BSc biomed...it will be a very tough year based on what i hear from the seniors..
now to settle the other shits like accomodation, VISA!!!!, money etc..
and also gonna help dad with the kampung clinic over the gawai break..thts going to be a nice experience i should think..
gonna be a very busy month for me i guess.
But its good also..if not i have to start my internship at miri general hospital diagnostic lab..mana tau got swine flu sample end up in front of me..yucks. I dont want to be miri's number one.
So thts it for now, will update if anything interesting happens..

Signs?
Tuesday's dream:
I was waiting for a flight to London. Arrived in the airport 2 hours early, only to realize that i didnt have a travellers visa to london so i couldnt get on the flight.
Doesnt sound nasty right? But i swear the feeling was real. I woke up in cold sweat and took a few minutes to convince myself that i was just dreaming.
The theme continued yesterday:
I was boarding an air asia flight to LCCT, so that i could take a bus to KLIA and subsequently fly to London. I arrived in LCCT, made my way to KLIA only to realize that i didnt bring my check-in luggage.I forgot to pack the whole damn thing! I was travelling with just a backpack. And the flight to London was boarding. And i think i was going there to study..
Again i woke up in a panic.
The two emotions that the dreams had in common was that i was so relaxed and complacent, when suddenly an event happens which is so overwhelming and sudden that i absolutely couldnt do anything to fix the problem. I have honestly NEVER felt so helpless in my life.
It doesnt really sound like nightmare material right? But i somehow feel very very uneasy.
Perhaps its because the offers from University of Adelaide has started arriving( for 4 days now). Perhaps its because some of my friends have already gotten the confirmed offer asking for the deposit payment and visa approval.
Ive been spending most of the day watching my e-mail box waiting for that crucial e-mail from ms vanitha. And it has yet to come.
feeling antsy now. And those dreams definitely arent helping.
Especially if you've just applied to one uni. All eggs in one basket baby.
You have noooo idea how shitty this feels.

James Bond.
James Bond is the definition of being manly. He's got the car, chicks, confidence and cash. So who doesnt want to be james bond..I know I do!
But sadly, my name isnt James bond. Its Joshua Nuing.
And i dont drive an Aston Martin DBS V-12..I drive a Perodua kelisa or Proton waja, both of which belongs to my dad.
I dont have a well chiseled body(working on that ahaha), nor do i lay every single girl i meet.(mum would kill me)
And most of all, i dont have the cash to splash around chasing villians all over the world using private jets.
But lucky for u guys, i took the trouble to actually find out how much does it cost to be James Bond so that u wannabes can get as close as possible to the real thing. Im gonna use the latest bond movie as reference, Quantum of Solace.
Number 1. The Car
The car always defines James Bond best. In this case, its the Aston Martin DBS V-12. If u wanna be like James bond, u gotta have the car.
See, with this car, you'll never need to find parking when goin clubbing. Coz u just park it right there in front of the entrance.
0-60mph in 4.2 seconds
192kmph top speed.
and i bet it sounds really sexy too.
It costs: 160,000 pounds...my math sucks, but i know its nearly 3/4 of a million ringgits..not considering the import tax @@( which would probably make the car well over a million..)
Number 2. The shades
Next thing to have is considerably cheaper. A pair of aviators from Tom Ford.
This is what James Bond uses when he wanna act cool. You would look cool in it too. Especially if u wear it driving the DBS V-12 in the busy streets of KL.
It costs: USD $350 which totals to roughly rm 1000 la.
Number 3. The watch
The omega seamaster professional. If you have this, you are a real man. Because James Bond is a real man.
It costs: USD $3800....more than rm 10k lah!
Number 4. The Suit
To finish it off, u gotta have the suit.
His trademark suit is also by Tom Ford and i have no idea how much it costs. Probably a lot.U wear this you straight away become macho. Like super macho...
So guys, all you have to do is save rm 1.5 million and go shopping. Then you get to be james Bond.
I know i will.
In 10 years time..
or maybe 15..

just a short one
Ok, i actually wanted to hold this for a proper update..but i just cant stand it.
Went out today to bintang plaza to watch star trek with the gang.
And noticed a new wave of ah lian fashion invading this tiny town of miri..
Girls wearing short shorts, baby t's..
and boots........
boots when miri is suffering from drought and heat wave...
and this kinda boot is the tinggi tinggi one (cover the shin), some of them with fur even...
Siberia? Norway? Antarctica?Arkhangelsk?Kursk??? I would understand if i saw it in these places..But this is Malaysia. Dead on the equator. And its FREAKING HOT.
@_@"
Somebody shoot me or gauge out my eyes.

Repent
I hereby announce that Joshua Nuing is going on a sabbatical for a period of month whereby i shall be abstaining from alcohol and other unhealthy pleasures..hrmmm..
This is a result of extreme guilt coz i was wasted so badly on saturday night after deadly double combo of Senzo and Mojo. ( shall not openly publish the details haha)
All i can say is that it involved vodka and girls.
and puking too..@@!
So for one month, from 13/5 to 13/6, i will be a monk. Meditating on the beaches of miri finding my inner peace and reflecting on my wrongdoings tsk tsk. Purifying my body via good diet and exercise.
I shall not:
1. Drink alcohol
2. Binge on fast food
3. Eat excessively
4.Objectify women by judging if they are hot or not.
5. talk about lewd stuffs wif friends. (mostly related to point 4..)
i think 1,2,4 and 5 are rather difficult...
But i will try my best...ahahahaha..right.

DJ josh?
Ive been having this stupid idea for quite some time now. I don't know if its just a phase, or is it true passion.
I want to be a part time DJ.
*Your cue to laugh*
DONT LAUGH!
It all started when Jon ( ahaha i promo u) started sharing some cool house and electro music Especially the collection from Ministry of Sound.
As a universal listener, im attracted to any kind of music that i find appealing. House music is one of them. Ive been listening to the addicted to bass collection by MOS which has some amazing beats by Rudenko,Agent X, Ida Corr and so on..
So this new found love has lead me to this particular machine, widely used in Laptop-based DJ-ing.
source: Digitek Australia
Presenting the Torq Xponent by M-Audio, supposedly user friendly with all the functions of an analog turntable such as beat matching, cue-ing etc. Im still in the process of learning the various terminolgy DJ's use so it does get abit confusing @@.
Just plug it in to a laptop and you're set.
And I already have a laptop full of eletronic music, so if i have the xponent, i could really start DJ-ing. Like immediately.
Get free drinks, clubbing+getting paid for it, meeting all the hot chicks, watchin ppl enjoy themselves and the list goes on!
And i probably could get friends on the VIP guest list too. That means no waiting in line for u guys, no cover charge, and no need to share spaces with commoners ahaha.
Just too many perks associated with a DJ's life ;)
source: Digitek Australia
Screenshot of the xponents software. Looks complicated aye?
But seriously i think ive outstretched myself this time..how to be a martial artist+ Triathlete+Motorbike adventurer+Medical Researcher and a DJ at the same time?? @@!!
And plus i need $$ too. Torq xponent itself costs more than rm 2k and a pair of good headphones from Bose or Seinheisser would probably cost another rm500-1000. Plus i hav to look for ppl willing to try out a DJ with NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE, with absolitely no credentials in the clubbing scene ( UnLess u count 2 times to Ministry of Sound as experience, plus a not-too-shabby knowledge of alcohol :D)
So its rather unlikely..
haha!
im so random.
ok bye.
